"The Stake Presidency would like ALL RS sisters who attend the Friday evening session of Stake Conference (on September 18th from 7-8:30pm), to stand wherever they are sitting in the congregation, when the third verse of the song "As Sisters In Zion" is sung. Only the choir will sing the first verse of this number, two soloists will sing the second verse, a musical interlude will be played between the second and third verses, and then the choir director will turn to the congregation and signal ALL sisters in the congregation to stand and sing the third verse together with the choir."

See you at stake conference!

  1. I just saw the post to the side about someone looking for bookshelves....I'm not sure if the sale is still going on, but we just bought a set of shelves from ShopKo for $50. It's 7ft tall and has doors (to keep little guys out). It's regular price is about $140, so it's really a great sale. They usually have great prices on bookshelves, if they're interested.

  2. I wanted to know if there's still a way I could participate in the choir. I haven't been able to make it to any of the practices, so I don't know who to contact or how early to be there tomorrow night. Is there an e-mail address to contact whoever is directing the choir?
